Sandy Bowdler: just do not let her drive....lol xxx
Jason Dear: She did already. But kept it very slow and was very good this time round
We made friends on the canal so agreed to share a lock together and us men controlled the boat and the women did the locks. We followed the typical English canal tradition and offered them some of our fine beer. Good times

Sandy Bowdler:
so the men drank beer.......and the ladies did the hard ẃork of doing the locks !!!!????
Jason Dear:
Yep. The thing is that women prefer doing the locks as opposed to driving the boat
Sandy Bowdler:
Is that what you told Cristina ? ? and does she belive you ???? lol
Cristina Russo Dear:
Sandy your son is an ........ ! He said I wouldn't be able to ride the boat so instead I had to do the locks!
Sandy Bowdler:
lol......you need to train him better !!!!!
Went outside the boat for a vaperette and this one came to see us. It's dark so the picture looks like a painting

Sandy Bowdler: lol.....so you where driving the boat, AFTER Cristina Russo Dear had tied it up to do the cooking ???? More like you were relaxing and having a beer.....
Jason Dear: I was holding the boat steady so she could tie it up
Sandy Bowdler: and while she was cooking and preparing diner !!!! was you still just holding the boat steady ?????
Spritz, beer and Sun... Now we are happy!
Lol, Cristina was sunbathing on the roof of the boat when I noticed a low bridge, so without hesitation (of course) I advised Cristina to get off the roof. I then noticed that not only Cristina wouldn't fit under the bridge but nor would the boat by about 5cm. So stopped it just before the bridge, and my beautiful wife worked out how to open it which I hadn't a clue. Now homemade curry which I prepared earlier and docked for the evening. Oh, topped off with sunburn and nettle stings. Next, the local pub
Finished off the boating with a trip to Marlborough for English afternoon tea and cakes. Still didn't avoid the bank holiday rush hour traffic though
